The Conservatory Wind Ensemble\, founded in 2002\, is comprised mostly of undergraduate students who are pursuing degrees in music performance\, music education\, composition\, and music therapy. The Conservatory Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Joseph Parisi. \nThis year’s Music for All festival\, with over 1000 students in attendance\, furthers the UMKC Conservatory mission to improve lives and communities through the arts. The World Premiere was a virtual performance by the Proud Duo in October of 2021. Three Reeds Duo will perform this new work at the NASA Conference to begin the process of bringing this vibrant\, exciting\, and challenging work to a more widespread audience.
