DESCRIPTION:Jenni Brandon’s “Sun Songs” for Soprano\, English Horn\, Bassoon\, and Piano performed at the She Festival\, March 15\, 2025\, University of Arkansas\, Fayetteville\, Faulkner Performing Arts Center Arkansas. Sun Songs performers are Kathleen Carter Bell\, Conor Bell\, Sarah Beckham-Turner and Sarah Rushing. The program follows: \nJenni Brandon’s — Sun Songs \nAlthea Talbot-Howard’s — Byzantion I \nSHE began in 2019 as a celebration of the contributions and artistry of women in music. The festival is presented in March each year in conjunction with Women’s History Month. \nThe 2025 SHE: Festival of Women in Music hosts over 100 musicians and academics from around the world to present works and research representing and celebrating women in music from March 14-16\,2025.  SHE includes performances\, lectures\, and masterclasses.
