The first ever Musser Marimba Festival will be held in Manheim, PA on Oct. 12 – 18.
On October 18, 2025 Jenni will conduct a 60-piece marimba orchestra headlined by The Lancaster Marimba Ensemble and Heartland Marimba, and featuring 40+ college students and professional marimbists from around the nation. She’ll lead the ensemble in several works including the world premiere of a new version of her work Badwater Basin for Marimba Orchestra!

The Musser Marimba Festival is held in the town where Clair Musser was born and raised, and is buried today, Manheim, PA. It is co-hosted by Heartland Marimba and the Lancaster Marimba Ensemble. Co-Directed by Matthew Coley, David Harvey, and Stephanie Smith. Presented by MostlyMarimba. The Musser Marimba Festival Orchestra is conducted by Matthew Coley and Jenni Brandon. Soloists include Matthew Coley (marimba), David Harvey (marimba), and Arturo Fernandez (theremin)! World premieres will be by Matthew Coley and Monica Pearce.
The first ever Musser Marimba Festival will be held in Manheim, PA and other local venues from Oct. 12 – 18. Presented by MostlyMarimba and co-hosted by the Lancaster Marimba Ensemble (based in Lancaster, PA) and Heartland Marimba (based in Waterloo, IA), the festival aims to celebrate the vast influences of the Manheim native, Clair Omar Musser, on modern marimba performance. Through a variety of events and concerts, audiences of all ages can explore, enjoy, and be educated about marimba performance and history. The grand finale of the week-long celebration is a 60-piece marimba orchestra concert held on Saturday, Oct. 18
