Composer & Conductor
Jenni Brandon is an award-winning composer and conductor, creating works from chamber music to opera and concertos in collaboration with other musicians and artists. Her music is beautiful and lyrical and has been performed internationally performed and recorded on over 21 albums. Beyond writing music that tells stories through memorable musical lines, she conducts her own works and appears as a guest conductor. She recently conducted her one-act opera 3 PADEREWSKIS in the Terrace Theater at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Entrepreneur & Collaborative artist
As an entrepreneur she runs her own publishing company, Jenni Brandon Music, which publishes and distributes her works worldwide. Jenni’s unique experiences as a musician have led her to being passionate about creating workshops and talks on collaboration and the business of music. Whether she is collaborating with other musicians on a new work, leading composer workshops, or coaching an ensemble on her music, she strives to create a supportive environment where collaboration leads to an exploration of ideas. Recent residencies and workshop presentations include Ithaca College, Loyola Marymount University, the University of Tennessee-Martin, Louisiana State University, LunART Festival, Georgia College, Central Michigan University, BYU-Idaho, Arkansas State University, as well as her own Online Composition Workshops: Writing for the Solo Instrument and Composer Laboratory and Festival: Writing for Keyboard Percussion.
