The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Conservatory, founded in 1906, is an educational community of over 700 students that advances creativity, performance, scholarship, and learning in the arts. The Conservatory Wind Ensemble, founded in 2002, is comprised mostly of undergraduate students who are pursuing degrees in music performance, music education, composition, and music therapy. The Conservatory Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Joseph Parisi.
This year’s Music for All festival, with over 1000 students in attendance, furthers the UMKC Conservatory mission to improve lives and communities through the arts. In the Conservatory, the focus is often on college students and faculty activities, but relationships and collaborations with the secondary schools throughout the region is a core part of the UMKC Conservatory identity and mission.
All of Jenni’s compositions are available for purchase on her website Home – Jenni Brandon https://www.jennibrandon.com
