“Chrysos” by Jenni Brandon’s performed by Martin J. Van Klompenberg at North Dakota State University Beckwith Recital Hall. The performance was at 7:30p.m., March 20, 2025.

Chrysos for bassoon and piano explores the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly which lives and migrates across North America.  The work, in one movement, has five sections that tell the story of this cycle.
