Commissioned by the Long Beach Camerata Singers, Jenni’s new work We Are Joy – a piano concerto with choir and chamber orchestra, will be the celebratory work to open the 50th anniversary season of the Camerata Singers.  Under the direction of Rob Istad, the singers will be joined by Tim Durkovic on the piano in this unique, 25 minute work will be paired with Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy as well as Tarik O’Regan’s Triptych.  Join Jenni for a pre-concert talk on these works, and Oliver Mayer (who wrote the original text for this commission) as they explore what joy means to each of us!
