New works solo and chamber ensembles and choir just added to the Jenni Brandon Music Catalogue.  These are available for purchase now and programming for your upcoming 2018-2019 concert season.  Here are the newest works:

Compostela for solo bassoon.  This work tells the story of the pilgrimage along The Camino Francés.  It is the most popular of the pilgrimage routes through Spain. Premiered during the 2018 International Double Reed Society Conference in Granada, Spain by Eric Varner.

SHADES OF VIOLET for Clarinet in B-flat and Viola explores the complexities of the color violet throughout history as told by the Clarinet and Viola. Commissioned by Elizabeth Crawford – clarinet and Katrin Meidellviola for the inaugural season of Violet.  This work will appear on their upcoming debut CD on the Albany Records label.

 

 

 

 

 

Dawn for Horn in F and piano is inspired by a poem of the same name by Scandinavian Poet Edith Södergran (1892-1923).  This work was commissioned by Steven Cohen to premiere and record on his CD Cruise Control and premiere during the 50th International Horn Symposium in July 2018 at Ball State University.

 

 

 

 

 

TWO IMMIGRANTS for SATB choir, cello, and piano tells the story of two young immigrants who come to America from a different land.  They seek out what many immigrants did in coming to America – a chance to build a life, grow a career and family, and live the American dream. Great for high school choirs or community choirs.
