Death Valley Symphony at the @gallagherbluedorn with @heartlandmarimba, and a choir of 100 singers including @belcantocedarvalley and @metchorale ! #womancomposer #newmusic #choir #percussion Olivia Odhiambo (Flute, Piccolo) performs "Cobalt Blue" for Flute (with piccolo) and piano at Coastal Carolina University Department of Music on April 12 at 4pm with Muriel Balzer, piano. @kalliope_reed_quintet performs Jenni’s work “The Wildflower Quintet” for Reed quintet ahead of the release of their album "Cañas sin Fronteras" (reeds without borders) with the world premiere recording of the work! Concert at @cromaspaceboston on April 11! This week I'm conducting and rehearsing with @heartlandmarimba @belcantocedarvalley and @metchorale for a performance of my "Death Valley Symphony." With a 100-member choir and Marimba Quartet, Percussion Ensemble, and Piano, this work gives voice to the story of Death Valley National Park @deathvalleynps California. Offered in a spirit of reverence and care, the work reflects our shared responsibility to protect our National Parks and preserve access to their enduring beauty. With gorgeous poems by Brandon Krieg and video projections by Dale Parson, this work takes us from the desert floor to the stars and beyond! Join us at the @gallagherbluedorn on Saturday April 11 for an out of this world experience! NEW WORK ALERT!! "From Sea to Sky: Stories of Amazing Women" version for FLUTE, Clarinet in B-flat, and Bassoon by Jenni Brandon now available through Jenni Brandon Music. Premiered by River City Winds at The Witte Museum in San Antonio, Texas on March 10, 2026. "In the City at Night" for solo English horn by Jenni Brandon is performed by Kelsey Maes on the "Oh My Ears" Festival in Phoenix on March 22.
