Josie Whiteis, bassoon presents her doctoral lecture recital titled The Performer as a Storyteller: Understanding and Conveying Narrative in the Reed Trios of Jenni Brandon .

Josie has been interviewing Jenni over the last several months about her works and presents this recital as part of her degree requirements at Florida State University. They’ve discussed Jenni’s reed trios The Sequoia Trio and Found Objects: On the Beach, both for oboe, clarinet in b-flat, and bassoon.
